Choglo's Painting is a multigenerational family business dating back to 1997. In the cold fall of late October 1992, Toviy Choglo arrived on US soil as an immigrant from the USSR along with his wife and six children, following the fall of Soviet Russia. Despite knowing little of the English language or American culture, Toviy wasted no time and quickly got to work. Alongside his three sons—Alexander, Nikolay, and Vitaly—he began painting for their very first boss in America within the year of 1993.
Their first boss, Kevin Trout, imparted upon them the morals, manners, and customer-centric approach crucial for understanding clients and ensuring high customer satisfaction. He instilled in them a strong work ethic and emphasized extreme attentiveness to detail in every finish. After Kevin Trout retired in 1997, Toviy and his oldest son Alexander founded Choglo's Gold Hand Painting. The business has operated successfully for over 23 years.
In mid-2013, Alexander’s eldest son, Dennis, joined the family business and has since dedicated over six years to its growth. In early March 2017, Toviy Choglo passed away, leaving Alexander and Dennis with a business that lacked a licensed successor. Dennis, raised in America and driven by ambition from a young age, took the legal aspects of the business into his own hands. He rebranded the family business as CHOGLOS PAINTING, going corporate with his father listed as his business partner.
Since then, they have expanded their services to include mastery of wallpapering and parking lot striping. They have assembled a team of trusted employees with well over a decade of experience in the finishing industry. Choglo's Painting has always prioritized customer satisfaction above all else and has consistently delivered on that promise. They have risen to the top tier in Portland across residential, industrial, and commercial domains. There are no limits to what they can do for you; simply ask. Customer satisfaction is always guaranteed.
